Logistical Support for the Office of Child Labor

Meeting Support for Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorder (COD) Knowledge Synthesis, Product Development, and Technical Assistance Project
AMSAQ provides support to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for this project to develop resources, train, and provide technical assistance that advance the adoption of evidence-based and promising practices in serving persons who experience mental health and substance use co-occurring disorders. AMSAQ is providing planning and management support for meetings, conferences, and technical assistance travel, and events.

Survey Management, Analysis, Reporting, and Technical Support (SMART)
The SMART contract’s primary purpose is to develop, conduct, and report on surveys to measure provider and Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) progress and outcomes related to the requirements and priorities of the QIO program’s 9th Statement of Work (SOW). SMART is being conducted by QualMed Surveys, a joint venture of AMSAQ and Westat, with AMSAQ as the lead venturer. Major activities include developing surveys, administering surveys via telephone, mail, and internet, and analyzing and reporting the findings.

Technical Support for the Peace Corps Human Capital Management System
The Peace Corps’s Office of Management, Human Resources Management contracted with AMSAQ to provide an integrated automated system to improve the efficiency and quality of operational work in the areas of developing and routing requests for personnel actions, tracking and processing, position classification, staffing, and performance management. The system also has the capability of generating standard and ad hoc reports.

National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP)
AMSAQ provides planning and logistics support to Westat and its partners for data collection training events for NAEP. The scope of work includes planning conferences and training sessions for Assessment Coordinators and Assessment Administrators; committing to needed facilities and associated furnishing, equipment and other provisions to ensure successful events; making travel reservations for attendees and participants; providing detailed accounting for each event; and ensuring prompt vendor payments. Specific responsibilities for any event are detailed in individual task orders.

Anticipating Unintended Consequences of Health Information Technology and Health Information Exchange
The purpose of this contract with the Program Service Center (PSC) is to create a mechanism to consider and address the undesirable and potentially harmful unintended consequences of activities supported by the Office of the National coordinator for Heath Information Technology (ONC) in coordination with other Federal agencies, including activities related to meaningful use of certified Electronic Health Records (EHR) technology. The goal is to avoid, mitigate, and track undesirable unintended consequences. To the extent possible, ONC’s intention is to implement programs that enormously improve the quality and efficiency of health care. AMSAQ, as a subcontractor to Westat, is responsible for planning and managing the logistics of each Technical Expert Panel and Work Group in-person meetings. This includes arranging for meeting venue/location selection, assisting with audio- visual and supplies requirements during the meetings, travel and lodging accommodations for participants and follow-up with participants, attending on-site for the in-person meetings to assist with arrangements, catering and meal arrangements, arranging for sufficient copies of materials needs for the meetings, and other meeting and function arrangements.

Fleet Systems Engineering Support
AMSAQ has provided C4ISR support to the U.S. Navy since March 2004 and we are currently working under our second contract. AMSAQ engineers provide afloat and ashore systems engineering support for Naval Network Warfare Command (NNWC) in support of Network Operations Centers (NOCs) at UARNOC (Norfolk, VA). This includes a combination of on-site engineers and technicians working within the NOC to provide on-site engineering and technical support to integrate new hardware, software, connectivity and training to NOC personnel and operations. AMSAQ engineers also support the Navy’s Base Level Information Infrastructure (BLII) at NSA Bahrain and, until facility reductions, Naples, Italy. The AMSAQ Team supports day-to-day operations including network maintenance, operations, help desk support, the BLII Configuration Management Process, and also supports the Active Directory operations and maintenance at the Bahrain Information Technology Service Center (ITSC).
